Here we go again. Feels like I just created this thread. Let's get this over with.

This is the one .. I have faith that Sean Payton will have this offense moving much better the 2nd time around, and give Russ something to work with, more than just being a sitting duck or scrambling for his life ..

Bronco fans have become so accustom to heartbreaking losses and letdowns - we can't just assume it's going to continue ... A win vs KC will continue this spark that;s been created and would be a turning point ..

The run game - which is really the catalyst - has taken it up a few notches in the past few weeks, and if the offense can get into the endzone early - which has not been the problem is has been in the past - this game could very well be the streak breaker

I don;t think anyone has the "oh god, KC is gonna score 80" fear that was so prevalent before the game a few weeks ago ...

Every player in the NFL is world class at his craft .. These are the best of the best, and when people say a player "sucks" , it makes no sense ... So what wins games is coaching, mindset and inspiration, timing - and the Broncos have much more reason to win this game ....

I don’t trust this team to get up and outplay the Chiefs. But this is the NFL and weird things happen. At 2-5 it is easy to look at the way this team has played against bottom tier teams and conclude the Broncos are a bottom tier team. But a win against the Chiefs could definitely be a season-saver. They’d still be 3-5 but their outlook would be huge.

So I remain hopeful. I don’t expect a win but until it’s an impossibility I’ll hope for a season turnaround.
