Thinking about it some more (because the current drive has gone back to lopsided and sloppy)

I think the problem is this....they have fallen too in love with those plays that are QB reads on the run/pass. I don’t think Carson is as ready to run those decision plays as Foles was.

This game should have had a package inserted that JUST a running play and not leaving it up to Wentz to decide on the go.

Also....the only RB I should see in the backfield on 1st down or 2nd and >8 is Howard, not Sanders.

Miles needs to run forward there. The blockers had him 4 or 5 yards there and he just kept going sideways.

Yep....he needs reps to get that down. And now ain’t the time for those reps.

being severely outcoached offensively. vikings have already busted out the reverse and a couple of delayed trick type plays. legit play-action. they smartly keep going deep to diggs. what have the eagles done? one deep ball to agholor and one slick play to sanders.

why does the deep 1v1 to alshon not exist? why does ertz never work the sidelines?

Another good point. Only option was to go to the end zone. And Jake can’t throw the ball nearly as far as he can kick it.

can't ignore the fact an "ELITE QB" would have dropped an easy TD in hollins hands the play before. the ref let him push off.. and the ball just needed to be there. of course, it wasn't.

they weren't getting a 21 yard TD pass off that nonsense. so, even if you complete it.. AND get out of bounds.. you have 0 timeouts and maybe 10 or so seconds left. they gave up 3 easy points for the chance to run 1, maybe 2 plays outside of the 10 yard line? knowing them, they would have just thrown a ball to ertz in the middle of field at the 4 yard line.
