Offense looked good in the 2nd half.


Defense did their job yes?? No??

Defense was Jekyll and Hyde all night.

Made Geno look like a Pro Bowl QB until the pick ( which was a result of Lockett falling down ).

Lloyd has some plays but missed several tackles. Donald had a Donald game.

Pass D still very suspect. Run D had its moments tonight.

The only difference I see in the defense between last year and this year is less experience in the secondary. Rochel played good tonight. Got burnt once but that’s ok against Russ Lockett as a rookie. It’s gonna happen. Hopefully D Will is ok

No you are right, SJ76. The Defense played the BBDB D very well but when things get more competitive, giving-up 11 pass plays over 20+yards is problematic because we are then venturing into the old Don Coryell days of "To hell with Defense, we will just out-score you" approach.

No Team in NFL history has won a championship passing the daylights out of the football and with no or little D or a BBDB D. The old adage of Defense and the Run wins championships still holds true.

They could have helped the secondary situation by picking-up Gilmore but they did nothing. So we will have to wait until the Secondary gets better.

I'm happy, I picked the Rams to cover -4.5 points on the road.

Still doesn't mean we fixed major issues that were exposed just 4 days ago.

Stafford may be struggling with finger issues and I'm not sure how long that's been going on.

If I had to guess by his last 2 performances, it's been an issue for about a half week or so.

Well, hopefully the few extra days off can help heal Stafford’s hand. Just hope we don’t overlook the Giants and lay an egg against a team we should handle easily.
