We won. But numerous concerns. McCarthy??Playing not to lose almost cost us. Try to get a first freakin down!!! Defense still cannot get off the field on 3rd down. Guyton should not be our starting left tackle this year. Thank goodness they pulled Booth. Lack of talent on defense for sure. I am still glade we won.
They need to help Guyton. If I were running the show I would have Luepke in the game full time. He can do a lot of things very well. He is a dangerous receiver for a FB. He doing the same thing to NFL defenders that he did to College defenders. Dak also seems to be on the same page with this guy. He can also line up as a TB and get first downs. I trust this guy more than Schoonmaker. He is very versatile

Props for finally having a decent day.

He is still in my dog house
Absolutely. He had ONE good game last year also. Time to string a few of them together if you want to be seen as a player in this league. BUT...it starts with one and he just had one so :hope:

Going to need this kinda play from here on out. Time to throw him in the deep end. :cheer2:

Kneeland played an expanded role over what he had the past two weeks. He played 35 snaps and was pretty good. He managed to register a quarterback hit, one tackle for loss and three total tackles. The run defense against the Giants was much improved and in parts looked extremely impressive. Kneeland was one of the better run defenders and managed to stay clear of any flags. With DeMarcus Lawrence likely heading to injured reserve it looks like Kneeland will take on a bigger role going forward.

I couldn't agree more. Mazi, Kneeland, Overshown and Marist should get a ton of playing time and if you ask me, Thomas and Bell need to be in there at S. These are some talented kids, and with DLaw, Micah and Bland out, our D is gonna suck anyway. Might as well let the kids take their lumps

I pronounce them struggling!
100%. I think Thomas and Bell could be a better tandem than DWil and Hooker(at this stage). They just need the PT. I know our young LB's are talented, same thing. I wouldn't limit it to defense either. I would love to see Asim Richards and the Flournoy kid get some reps. We aren't winning a Super Bowl this season, but it could still be a big success IMO if some of these kids pan out or not and let the Cowboys know what they have
