We won. But numerous concerns. McCarthy??Playing not to lose almost cost us. Try to get a first freakin down!!! Defense still cannot get off the field on 3rd down. Guyton should not be our starting left tackle this year. Thank goodness they pulled Booth. Lack of talent on defense for sure. I am still glade we won.

Yep, 100% 2-2 looking way better than the alternative.
I actually had hopes that this was going to be a big year for us. But that was before Jerry/Stephen decided to sit out FA this year

I thing part weaker opponent, part Zim was putting guys in all gaps to stop the run. That's part of the reason Daniel Jones looked better passing than he normally does. But a good gane from Mazi, hopefully it'll build some confidence

My son plays NT for his team. First year ever playing any sports. He don't know shit. He got in and stood his ground. Took on 3 Olineman right off the bat first play. Stood them all up. Second play he did same with two blockers and the ball carrier had now here to go. Caused a fumble.

We won't talk about him getting pancaked next time he got in. But he was jawing at that MF so I was still proud.

I would be happy if Mazi could do the same, stand his ground. He just is too light or something.

morning sports guys who usually slam on Smith said it's far and away his best played game as a Cowboy. They even said he was a force. I'm not going there just yet, but he did play with an attitude when I watched him on some snaps.

Ugly win but it is in the right column. Our running game is by far the worst for years. I was afraid of that and Jerry and company poo-pooed it. Somebody on a practice squad has to be better than what we have. Terrible mismanagement of the running game and sadly every team in the NFL knows it if we seek a trade of some kind.

It really hurt the game. And that weak taunting call on CD was ridiculous. Must have been a NY fan. The holding call on Beebe and the non PI call on Lamb were awful. That face mask call was terrible as well. Just a horrible officiated game. Hard to watch.

As much as Guyton has struggled, Beebe has shined. We need to give Guyton a lot of help the next two weeks or we are in trouble as he will be going up against two of the best in the league

I kept telling my son to watch our rookie centre push that big boy around.

It’s a pretty solid centre of the offensive line with those three. Smith, Martin and Beebe.
