Game Thread: Week 17 General Discussion

Should be some good games - my Falcons go to DC to face the Commanders in a huge showdown, I hope we can pull out a win, should be a really fun game with good offense, Penix vs Daniels will be fun to watch.

All 3 games tomorrow matter - Broncos/Bengals is huge for the AFC wild card race, and the Rams can clinch their division with a win over the Cards, and the Chargers can clinch a wild card spot with a win over the Pats.

On Sunday, Packers/Vikings looks like the other biggest game besides the aforementioned Falcons game. Cowboys/Eagles could be interesting, Hurts is likely out, I think Saquon will have a big game and may hit the 2000 yard mark Sunday. There are some lousy games though given that it’s near the end of the season. I’ll get Cowboys/Eagles on tv as well as Packers/Vikings and Falcons/Commanders, on the iPad I’ll mainly watch Panthers/Bucs and Jets/Bills - Panthers/Bucs is particularly interesting to me because if the Bucs lose the Falcons only need to win 1 to get in, and the Panthers have been better lately.

Cannot wait for Packers/Vikings, my eyes will be glued to every play in that game.

I’m glad Falcons/Skins is the night game too, I haven’t had many opportunities this season to see JD work and I want to see Penix also on a prime time stage.

Bengals v. Broncos will basically be a playoff game. Surtain vs. Chase will be fun to watch. The rookie QB Nix on the biggest stage and on the road. The jungle will be rockin'!

My hatred for the Chefs is equally strong but yes, the Broncos defense can play. Not sure that Reid will want to sit all the starters for nearly three weeks, although history says he might. I would think they would play the starters for a series or two.

No kidding. One of the most interesting things about this week is whether Saquon is going to put himself in position to break Eric Dickerson's rushing record.

I think Saquon likely hits 2000 tomorrow but I doubt he breaks the record, and I bet he rests in Week 18 so I don’t think he’ll get there.
