I think there’s a chance we could see Bills/Lions again for the Super Bowl - the Bills are the AFC’s best team IMO, Allen is having a fantastic season and the Bills are really clicking on offense, their D needs to play better after giving up 40+ points back to back games but they do have talent at each level on D. The Lions have a great O but they’ll also need better D and the injuries on that side of the ball are piling up on them.

I think one of them could get there but I'd imagine it's super rare for 2 suspect defenses to make it to the SB.

I hear you but the NFL is an offense first league overall. And I think the Bills D is decent, they’ve just had a bad last 2 weeks, the Lions have so many injuries on D it will be a challenge for them in the playoffs.

Time for Carson Wentz to do his best Nick Foles impression?

Tomlin had the best reaction to the Refs as this is how we all feel.

NOTE: So this is not taken out of context. I am NOT saying the Refs were for or against any team more the fact the Refs in general.

No, but the Lions did score 42 points and the Bills were not conceding anything. They have to get some guys back on D if the expect to go far in the playoffs though.
I know you are referring to the Lions defense, which is decimated by injuries. :suds:

But this is two weeks in a row that Buffalo essentially said "f-it" on defense (giving up about 30% of their points against in the last two weeks) and rode Allen's coat tails.
And as we see, it is a 50/50 chance of working, and if the Lions fall into that trap it could end early for them. Nothing against Goff he isn't Allen in the sense he can use his legs to beat a team.

At this point I have no idea how anyone can't pick the Eagles to be in the Super Bowl. They may end up with home field.

Goff has greatly improved recognizing and eluding pressure this season. That was his biggest flaw. He'll never be Allen of course but he's no longer a statue back there who needs a clean pocket. The Lions were 2nd in the league in scoring D until guys started dropping like flies. They will get a couple of guys back but they will still be shorthanded on defense. It is what it is. If they can win out at least they'll get a bye and be hosting in the playoffs.

In a statement released by the team, the Dolphins said WR Grant DuBose (head/neck) “has movement in all extremities and initial tests have revealed positive results.”
DuBose remains hospitalized a day after suffering a brutal hit to the head in Sunday’s loss to the Texans, but it sounds as if the worst is behind him. The second-year receiver was playing in his first game since Week 2 after making his way back from a shoulder injury but now seems unlikely to play again this season. We don’t yet know the specifics of his injury, but we continue to wish DuBose the best in his recovery.
