Such a moron that he has taken them to the SB and currently has them at 12 - 2. Pretty fing stupid if you ask me.
There's so much talent on that roster, you can be 12-2 entirely by accident. Any moron with half a brain would be winning a lot of games with that roster.

Lions lost 2 more starters to IR on defense, 18 for the year. Trying to keep my hopes up, but it feels like too much at this point.

While I agree with your assessment of the head coach as you said there is just so much talent on that roster, and with the Lions and their injuries the road to the Super Bowl goes through Philadelphia. Unfortunately.

Montgomery is out indefinitely too. It's as if the football gods have decided that "nope, this just cannot happen".

Yeah they are really starting to dwindle.

Hutch was a big one. But up until now, it was more death by 1000 cuts than true significant injuries.

But McNeil and Davis are huge ones. Davis especially considering Glenn refusal to call defenses based on the type of players he has on the field (why they were so god awful the last couple of seasons). And losing their best man guy is going to hurt them because he is still going to be calling man coverage if the last few years is any indication.

And Montgomery is another huge one. Obviously Gibbs is still there. But you can just tell from the team that Montgomery was the true leader there.

Did it to us last year so only makes sense would happen to the Lions (or Jets if ever in that position).

That's the great thing about the Vikings. We never have the injury excuse. Just the we arent good enough or we choked excuse.

My family is from Michigan so I've always rooted for the Lions. I really thought last year was their shot. I saw the season Goff put together as a one off, he would revert back to Jared Goff and they would fall back this year. Boy I could not have been more wrong, it's just such a shame injuries are derailing their season. I feel for you.

I wasn't paying too close of attention to the NFC race because I didn't think Philly would have a real shot. I'm surprised the Vikings are right there. In fact they appear to have the tiebreaker over Philly, just like the Lions, so the Eagles will likely need to have the clear best record to win it in a two- or three-way tie.

There are some interesting matchups down the stretch that are going to be very significant for determining who gets the sole bye week--not just the Vikings-Lions game obviously but also the Niners-Lions and the Eagles-Cowboys (which I'm going to).

Lions currently hold the tie-breaker edge, but it is very thin.

This should have been the year. But they're not dead yet and they have enough important pieces locked down that they should be very good for at least a couple more years. They have the Bears next who are in a free fall and then the Niners who are also struggling with injuries. They should still be able to outscore both of those teams, but losing Montgomery is really going to hurt on that side of the ball too.

Is it just me or does Caleb like he has been chugging energy drinks when he is in the pocket? I understand a poor OL has made him jittery but man he is showing no poise what so ever and his accuracy continues to concern me.

I'm no hater, I believe it's good for the league to have a franchise QB in a city like Chicago. And I still think he will be good but if I'm a Bears fan I have to be a bit concerned.

He's also out there with an interim OC and head coach. This season is a mess, some solid hires this winter could fix a lot of those issues (along with some FA/draft attention to that OL).

no...you are a skins fan, not a hater, your approach is the same as it was when the skins hailed mary chicago. Your angle remains the skins got the best QB....like 2010, you guys lined up trumping Bob ahead of luck, then they played a few more seasons.

skin fans = over reaction
for as long as I've watched football.

I sincerely never understood the hype around the Bears at the start of this season. That's a team that I think has major issues all emanating from the owner. They should be one of the elite franchises every year based on location and tradition.

What has gotten in to you lately? I can't discuss the first pick in the draft wthout being called a person who overreacts? On a side note are you actually claiming overreacting is unique to Washington fans?

And what exactly is "the skins hailed mary chicago" supposed to me? You have turned into a moron, must be the water..

I never said RGIII was better than Luck. Not once, generalizations are for idiots.

No Skippy this has nothing to do with Jayden Daniel. If you bothered to view my post history you will find that I am no Caleb hater. I have consitantly posted that I think he wil be good and that it would be good for the league to have a franchise QB in Chicago. I am also not afraid to post concerns. And it should be obvious that he has happy feet, lacks poise and is inaccurate at this point in time.
