The ball was snapping as the clock hit 0 and they called delay of game. Against tthe Lions they never call that, and even Perraira will get on air and say they watch the clock hit 0 and then look up to see if the ball has snapped yet, then throw a flag.

Idk man, it's legitimately hard to be more efficient in the passing game than KC has been this year short of asking them to be the 2007 Patriots. They're actually one of the more dominant offenses of the last 20 years just because Mahomes is a freak. Short of asking Mahomes to walk on water, it's kinda hard to ask more than he's already doing; which btw he should win MVP. Part of the reason you sign MVS is to absorb the loss of Hardman this offseason. KC effectively decided to do a tactical retreat and they are worst 3rd in SB odds, and a Buffalo loss to Cincy away from being the SB favorite again with HFA

They've yet to really get Toney going (who may be back today) and he's pretty damn talented, imo.

What's cost them more is Karlaftis not being at least average right out of the gate at EDGE, McDuffie being hurt early, and a young secondary in general. Defense is 20th in EPA/Play allowed normalizing for takeaways going into this week.

Yeah, the defense hasn't been what they expected.

Idk about that, I think I was in here arguing that (being somewhere near average) was actually improvement from what they had last year. Back then the argument is the Chiefs defense got worse. They were 27th last year in that stat I posted. It's moreso they can't fix a dumpsterfire in one offseason, imo. Under 5 yards a play to the Texans so far through 3 drives.
