The other thing to remember is that our DLine was basically rebuilt this week due to injuries.

This team is breaking in a new QB and really putting its depth on both lines to the test. Stuff like this happens. Hoped for a different result but you can never truly expect it. Let’s get this season in the books with a 7-9 record and get on to building for 2020.

Me not panic.

This Bronco's team will be a playoff contender next season - I am willing to bet all the remaining hair on @Draft Crazy's head on this. I don't think I have ever seen a team with more injuries and a longer IR than this Bronco's team. Next year will be different - especially with 10 draft picks loaded into the chamber.

Von is despondent for some reason.
This has me concerned. Not like him.

Okay makes sense.

He gave up being a wrecking ball to win now. We never won so now his value is down and he wonders what was really accomplished.

Von would go nuts and wreck plays take over games This staff told him to play 100% in the system and he would start seeing those wins again. This season has been a nightmare for the players. all those close losses. and people dropping like flys

CEH IMO Miller realized he wants out yesterday this system is for guys like Chubb.

Miller is great but he is not really a perfect match for this system.

Some times a break up is best for both sides.

Yeah I think fans need to try and understand where Von is coming from. I think this was not about one game but the culture of the team over the last 4 years. He's lived it day in and day out and said "We've changed coaches, we've changed players , I've tried to bond this team and still get these outcomes. Not sure how we got to this point" Who knows exactly what hes trying to say . maybe this is him saying goodbye and wanting to end his last couple years trying to win a SB again.

53-9 is not really that close especially when you factor in one of the games was against Matt Moore.

Plus I like to rile up the fans on this board.

I completely understand where Von is coming from, and after that game he may see the writing on the wall that some of the veteran guys on Defense are not going to come back and youth is going to be injected. That would mean Chris Harris, and Wolfe are probably gone. Shelby Harris would be on the bubble. The fact of the matter is our Defense has gotten older while the Offense struggled, and we probably do need some youth added. If this is the case I will be sad to see Harris and Wolfe leave. Heck maybe we trade Von and that would make me sad too.
