Game Thread: Week 15 Colts Come to Town

Broncos 8-5, Colts 6-7 and yet with both teams’ remaining opponents considered, this game is a MUST WIN!

Win and in basically. I don't think anyone can realistically overtake us outside a complete meltdown (which we've seen before...)

So nice to be in the playoff picture again after 8 years!

It really is a critical game. If we win, we eliminate Indy with a three game lead with three games to go and we have the tie breaker. However, if we would lose to Indy, we only have a one game lead over them, and they have the tiebreaker. They finish the season against three teams in the race for the #1 overall draft pick - Titans, Giants, and Jags.

I have a lot of heartache about this. The Broncos played the Chargers earlier this season coming off their bye. But we don't get the advantage of coming off our bye and facing a team that has played the week prior.

I could go on and on about this, but suffice to say the NFL with minimal effort can inject some much needed equity in its scheduling methodology when it comes to bye weeks. And they really need to. But that's a discussion for the off season.

Yeah, they run millions of schedules, each one scored and evaluated. They probably narrow down to 100 that are reviewed by commitee

I am only partially buying this. They can flex a game halfway through a season, schedule games in different countries. A little deliberate planning to sync opponents and bye weeks is easy math for this organization.

I'm just hoping for the Broncos to win this game. I'd rather they keep it completely in the driver's seat. I don't want any drama from needing other teams to win or lose. With that said, I'm indifferent between the Colts and Texans, though I think if they both finish 9-8 the Texans have the tie breaker.

Winning is priority #1 for sure.

Houston plays Miami and so if Miami loses that game and we win against Indy we clinch a spot with 1 more win or Miami loss.

Need to win this home game. The road games against a good chargers team and on the road to a Cincy team with an on fire offense are going to be tough. Chiefs might not have much to play for that final week, but certainly don't want it to come down to that game.

What's crazy is the Broncos remaining schedule includes defending champs and a division rival who happens to have the #1 scoring defense. And still the talk of winning out doesn't sound crazy.

Things have changed. This Broncos team is legit!

That Colts defense is giving up over 147 yards per game. I don’t care how the Broncos win, just as long as they win. But it would definitely be nice to see them exploit that and get their own ground game going.
