@SpringStein Passes the test on being able to start game threads now.
telling you the third best play of the ballgame was smith batting the ball back into the field of play. except his foot was in the line.BTW, good to see Drew Sanders out there tonight.
Besides Mims and Bonitto (punch his ticket to the pro bowl) I thought PJ Locke had a GREAT game.
Abrams-Draine and Mathis played well too after the Levi Wallace issue the game before. Abrams-Draine real "first" action now counting a few possessions vs Cleveland and he was thrust into a starting role and did pretty darn well.

Ya, but that punt return coverage at the end of the first half was not good. They more than made up for it though. It is really nice that every week we do not have to worry about special teams being the reason we lose a game. Yes there was the blocked field goal earlier this year, but it used to be consistently every week we would hold our breath hoping for someone not to miss a tackle or always being behind the 8-ball because we couldn't win the field position battle.

True. I'll just say that every unit is going to have a few bad plays here and there. They have been a top-5 unit though in the NFL and when you need to win 2 of the 3 units to win a game it is nice that we don't have to usually overcome special teams always being lost.
Give how poorly our special teams play was before Sean Payton came to town it really has been a drastic change. We use to be one of the worst special teams coverage units year in and year out... This is even missing our second best special teams cover guy in Delarrin Turner-Yell for the season.
Yeah it was rough. Broncos consistently lost the field position battle week in and week out and having to drive 80 yards instead of say 60 yards is a huge difference in the NFL. And with our opponents having the reverse yeah it was rough.
