Precisely they are averaging 147 rushing yards per game. That puts them 31st in the league.

Their pass defense is ranked 26th at 232 yards per game.

Total defense is 29th at 379 yards per game.

But before you go penciling in a blowout, and despite giving up a lot on the ground and through the air, this unit is somehow ranked toward the middle of the league in scoring. They’re 18th at 22.9 PPG.

So there’s definitely an opportunity to exploit this defense, but the Broncos are not going to have an easy day at the office to get this win.

Yeah, and it's also important to remember, this isn't a bottom tier team playing for a top-5 draft pick. This is a team on the playoff cusp that is going to throw everything they've got at the Broncos because this is a major hurdle in the Colts steeplechase for the playoffs.

(See what I did there? I had to mix it up because I've made the "horsepower" joke too many times when these two teams are involved.)

Likewise I'm sure the Broncos know how vital this game is to their own playoff ambitions. They have every reason to come out at home and handle their business.

Huge game on Sunday. I think this one determines the Broncos playoff fate as with a win there is a three game lead and tiebreaker over colts and a two game lead over Dolphins. With a loss the Colts would only be one game back with the tiebreaker and the Dolphins one game back. The Colts remaining schedule is pretty easy so the Broncos couldn't afford even one slip up with three good teams left on the schedule.

My one concern is Richardson's running ability which the VJ defenses seem to have an issue with.

Haha if only it worked that way. Honestly I'm feeling a big Vele day. Colts will be working hard to shut down Sutton and I think Vele will be the benefactor of that getting lots of 1-on-1's. I'm saying Vele goes for over 100 yards and a TD.

Defensively I'm feeling Jones will be having himself a day with a couple of picks.

Bye week felt like a whole season. That only happens when the team is good. A win brings us to 9 on the season and our first time reaching 9 wins since 2016. It also brings us right up to the post-season's doorstep. I am so ready for this game!

If this is true this is actually a good time for the team to start working him in. As hard as it was to see him not involved, a big development like this late in the season can be a factor that really makes the Broncos harder to prepare for.
