Honestly - the Chiefs left a lot of points off the scoreboard. The Broncos left a few off of the board as well.

I just don't think Lock can be evaluated with this WR group - since most are rookies - 2nd year types and no training camp - no continuity on the field with Lock's injuries and Covid crap. It is clear Sutton is missed - because he comes down with the 50/50 catches 75% of the time.

Jeudy and lock need to get on the same page still. Hamler shows himself to be a real weapon - I have a real positive feel about him.

I don't understand = with the game on the line - not going to Fant or Patrick - instead throwing to Jeudy who was ignored most of the game.

Nobody = @Draft Crazy @Mingo LOL

I still support Fangio also, but I think you have to stick with Schumur another year because - if you don't - adjusting to the new OC will be another excuse.

100% agree. Lets face it, How can anyone expect this team to grow as young as it is with as many new components in place during an off-season with such little time?

I just wanna see Lock grow as the season goes, fox some holes this offseason and get excited about next year. We have a lot to look forward to and we haven’t been able to say that un recent years.

When I suffered through the 1960 - 1976 tenure of Bronco fandom - I spent a lot of time looking at games like this one with the Chiefs to determine - if the team had a worthy young nucleus - and if they had to the talent to stick with the best in the Division/Conference.

This Bronco's team is on the way for success - IMO.

why was Melvin not getting the ball all the time last night?

Lindsey did nothing but stall the drives.

I think the non believers are finally understanding why we signed Melvin Gordon and what he brings to the table as oppose to just looking at stats. Hard nosed, physical back who can catch. He isn’t fancy but when we use him right you can see what he can do. I love watching him break tackles. It is a thing of beauty. He creates. He is like that off guard in basketball that creates his own shot!

I feel like I haven’t seen Bausby since he has re-arrived but he is active.

And not sure Shumur was able to put in the offense he wanted with no training camp, and limited Training Camp. Hopefully next year we have a full offseason, and far fewer injuries.

A version Broncos still can't beat C+ level Chiefs. They just toy with us. Have we fallen so far that close but, no cigar is good enough. Fanbase (myself included is getting soft on expectations. I hope next year our expectation standards are raised and stay that way. LET'S GO BRONCOS. 21 playoffs or bust if not clean house top to bottom in FO. I'm tired of excuses and tolerating losing must end . Not personal attacks on anyone never would do that ever but, our Bronco standards are subpar LET'S GO my rant is over 8).

My concern is the players that don’t turn out in Denver that are turning out elsewhere. Another one... Isaac Yiadom has ben great for the Giants this year. Bradley Roby has been good. Isaiah McKenzie has found the perfect role which is exactly why he was a 5th rd pick. Booker has carved out an important role on the Raiders when not depended on as a starter.
Nobody could turn Paxton Lynch into squat. I think we do a poor job of finding wats to develop and use players how they should be used.

Some of this also has to do with changing coaches, and schemes too frequently. Yiadom wasn't a good fit with what Vic wants to do on Defense. Success in the NFL is as much about fit as it is talent.

I just don't get Shurmur. Fant was playing as well as Kelce in the first half. His blocking has even improved. 2nd half nada.

Where is Fant down the seam. Seams are there even with 2 safeties. Have not seen a seem buster all year. FInally saw one screen to Gordon that worked well. Dumbfounded by Shurmur.

Here's Shurmur in a nut shell.

Driskell is QB in Pitts and Denver needs 5 yards . Its 3rd down and no QB run. Its 4th down and no QB run. Fast Forward to NYJ and Shurmur brings in Driskell to run a QB keep. He's no a BB who tries to maximize the talent he has.

Then last night he decides on the 1 yard line with power back Melvin to run a play with two men in motion and the young QB does not wait for the players to get set. Let's complicate an easy situation. Give the ball to Melvin and be done with it. Gordon was a beast last night.

Right. I am aware of scheme fits.

but several of these guys are being utilized better.

Shelby Harris is a wonderful player - by all means sign him - he brings something no other DL brings in my expereince.

It will depend on what he is looking for for a salary.
