Game Thread: Week 13: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

Denver is come off the strangest week I have ever seen in NFL football, and the Chiefs just beat the Bucs. On paper this appears to be 100% in the Chiefs favor. On thing to remember that the Defense played pretty well against the Chiefs the first time. The Chiefs managed 286 yards of offense, 0-8 on 3rd down, and we forced and recovered a fumble. The offense and special teams were a complete disaster. 4 Turnovers, 21 points on defensive and special teams TDs. If you take away the 21 free points we gave KC, the final score is 22-16 KC.

With the mess with the QBs last week I think we get a much more focused group this week. If the offense can pick up where it left off against the Dolphins the this could turn into a really interesting game on Sunday Night Football.

In a crazy twist of fate, all charter pilots and bus drivers will be ruled ineligible to fly/drive the Broncos to KC. Garret Bolles will fire up his F-150 (he seems like an F-150 kind of guy) and lead a caravan of Broncos players and coaches down I-70. The Chiefs don't cut the Broncos a break with parking at the stadium. The NFL fines the Broncos for car pooling more than 3 players per vehicle and strips them of all their draft picks through the 2024 season.

Fangio: Discipline still on table for Broncos' QBs

Broncos QBs Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles could be cleared to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list as soon as Tuesday, said coach Vic Fangio, who also said additional discipline is still "on the table'' for the three players.

Callahan injury doesn’t sound good. Foot (not same injury as last year) sounds like multiple weeks and perhaps season. Good time for Bassey and Ojemudia to get more experience and grow.

I think there is a definite possibility that Denver can win as long as we can have close to the offensive efficiency from the Dolphin game. Defense played well enough to win against the Chiefs in Denver.

With that many QBs we need to find a way to get them all on the field at the same time. Especially against the Chiefs. We saw what happened when you play a game without a QB. So more is better. I hope we get formations with all 4 QBs out there, keeping the Chiefs guessing. Which one is going to get the snap?
