NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "Tom Brady is beginning what is expected to be his final season."​

We'll hear hundreds of reports on Brady's future throughout the season, but it does seem likely that this is a farewell tour for the greatest football player to ever take the field. As rapport noted, Brady has previously said that his plan was to play until he was 45 years old. Having turned 45 a week before the start of the season, we may be entering the final Week 1 of Brady's career.
