End of the day its week 1. No need to panic yet we played a good team.

Next week is important though. I really hope Zeke doesnt run all over us.

I agree. But if a coach isn't given the right tools for the job, does it matter what coach you hire? Its a balance for sure. The last thing you want is a revolving door for coaches. We have done that for years now. We have to put our coaches in a place to succeed. I am just surprised that a solid GM and talent evaluater like SM completely dropped the ball with this.

only so many holes can be addressed in a single offseason.

the GM & executives understand this & will take such into consideration with Gruden.

Gruden biggest issues are his tendencies ... and over thinking of said tendencies.

Our defensive coordinator gave them no run support. Not one blitz. Barry was just clueless tonight. He refused to put Norman on Brown. The dline wasn't getting pressure and he stood back and let Ben pick us apart. You have to stack run boxes. That was the whole point of getting Norman. Breeland was beyond awful tonight.

Don't knee-jerk over week 1. Sometimes there is a good silver lining to losing games early like this. I know that is hard to hear, especially when its easy for me to say that after winning. So take it with as many grains of salt as necessary... But the season is young. Plenty of time to turn things around.

No No No Dean. You know that JB believes in rush 4 and drop seven in coverage. It is the old Tampa Def. He rarely blitz and plays a non aggressive scheme. I came to the conclusion last yr JB scheme is the problem. We do not have the players to fit his scheme. Personally I like a much more aggressive Def. This is the same crap we had last yr. Non aggressive and very predictable.

Can't speak for Breed, but I thought that was more tongue in cheek irony after an ass raping by y'all tonight.
