It was not directed solely at ehb, it was in part though. The 70% comment was stupid. Clearly John Gruden has explained all night that the Steelers have been forcing the Redskins to move in small chunks. But instead it was 70% completions doesn't matter if they are all 5 yards. Cousins has not played well tonight but he hasn't been terrible either. It has been a team wide breakdown.

The 70% was more related to it being praised as some amazing feat. In the context of this offense it's not. When I was complaining about the depth of the passes I meant it as criticism of the offense as much as kirk. The next drive kirk made back to back great downfield throws. Exactly what I wanted from him and the offense. As for playing ok tonight I'd agree - some good some bad. Problem is when people get pissed that I call Kirk's play ok as though I'm personally attacking their first born child.
