Wednesday Night 2nd Star Challenge!

Hi, I thought this might be some good fun on a night with no elimination games and only three games scheduled. Me and my Grandma (Rip Blanche, you’re missed) used to play this while eating graham crackers with icing in between them and it was fun! Anybody can pick the 2nd star, but we made it harder to be more challenging. Its still pretty easy though. Here is how:

Pick the 2nd star from each game.

Multiply the points they have for the night by the number of goals their team scored then subtract any penalty minutes (if applicable) and divide that total by the amount of goals the opposing team has – if 0 skip this step.

For instance if I think the Bruins are going to beat Toronto 4-3. I think Marchand will have a goal and an assist and a penalty for hooking.

So that would be 2 x 4 = 8 – 3 = 5 divided by 3 which is 1.667 (you can round up the third decimal). Easy peasey lemon squeezy!
