Lebron is back to this excuse
Yep. Lebron left that championship mentality in Miami apparently.
Irving can make that excuse, he's 23 years old. What about Love, Shumper, Verajo, JR Smith, Richard Jefferson, etc...? Those boys are the same damn age as the Warriors if not older.
I hate Urban Meyer with a passion, I really do. But one of the quotes he made about excuses was amazingly accurate, and I'm paraphrasing here - "Everyone has excuses. But the minute I start using excuses, it gives my team the right to use them as well."
curry is by far better then lbj. LBJ on the decline but still better then most.
Tuned into a game tonight, not sure what was going on. All I saw was a Warriors shootaround. Did the Cavs ever show up? I looked online to see if their bus got stuck in traffic or something, but there's nothing
go into the article i posted and see the vine of Love playing defense on one possession. Its hilarious.Interesting view from Dave McMenamin which very well be true when you think about it.
If anything, it was Curry who looked like he was disrespected by James recently suggesting that Irving was on his level, sharing the title as the best point guard in the game. Not only did Curry overwhelmingly settle that debate, if you could even call it one, by outscoring Irving 35-8, but he also scored as many points in the first quarter (16) as James did for the game, creating more supporting evidence for those who contend Curry already has wrestled “best player in the world” status away from The King.

He also said...
"Thinking about June is ridiculous. We only can focus on today, and for us to have any sense of entitlement about June is absurd to me. The only thing that matters is today."
"Tonight was an example of how far we need to go to get to a championship level"
"It's never as bad and it's never as good as it may seem when you're going through it," James said. "Obviously, you want to play well and especially on a stage like this versus the defending champions. But for me as a leader of this ball club over the last six or seven years, I've always been even-keeled about wins and losses, especially at this juncture of the season."
"Against the top teams you want to play well, and we haven’t done that," James said. "We’re 0-3 versus the top two teams in the West. We’re 0-1 against the Bulls so far. We’ve got to play better basketball.
That's great and all but he really needs to stop saying they haven't had a lot of time together and they're a young team.
1) They're not that young outside of Kyrie and Tristan. Everyone else in their rotation is 25 or over.
2) The whole they haven't a lot of time together is garbage. They been together for about a year and a half now. This is not a team who just came together 3 months ago
Fuck LeBron
Heat were too old
Cavs are too young.
Just be a man and say the Warriors are just a better team, but hopefully we'll improve as the season progresses.
He wasn't calling Kyrie too young a couple weeks ago when he said he was talented enough to be league MVP.
Curry didn't say shit, his actions on the court said it all.
