Ima steal from Twitter and ask this amazing question.
Who was better? Warren Moon or Jim Kelly?

He also throws some of the prettiest passes downfield.Seeing Moon play all the years he did in Edmonton before heading south, I would say that he threw the best ball on the run in either direction that I’ve seen.
Voted Moon just off memory.
Those Bills teams were awesome, though.
Yeah, I don’t think we'll ever see a team like that again.Awesome at losing the biggest games. It was always nice to watch.

Cowboys kinda made everyone look bad.
I don't know about that. Kelly certainly had a great team, but those Oiler teams were flat loaded as wellMoon was fun to watch and could throw throw throw, Kelly was ok but he also had more of an all around team, at least from memory

Oilers had a great OL, Bruce Matthews and Mike Munchak. Had a lot of good players on D. Always had solid WR's, just average RB's though. Certainly not Thurman, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith...but to me 4 Super Bowls is 4 Super BowlsYou could be right, I remember 4 or 5 HOF's from the bills team but maybe 1 from the oilers...so as I say just my memory
Just eyeballing the ELO rankings of the two teams in the era and Moon's Oilers really only hit what the Bills were doing at two points while the Bills maintained a high ELO ranking for 3.5 seasons. The Bills were a much better team. Oilers were there with the Chiefs and Chargers and a couple of other teams IIRC.Oilers had a great OL, Bruce Matthews and Mike Munchak. Moon being exiled to the CFL for 6 of his most formidable years had something to do with that. He had one NFL team that wanted him to convert to TE because they couldn't take a black QB, but he said he wasn't athletic enough or good at anything other than throwing the football.Really tough call. Can't go wrong with either. I'll give the edge to Kelly in that he got his team to the Super Bowl four times and Moon never did, although the Bills had better defenses than the Oilers did.
Hell yeah they were, they just had some serious bad luck in the BIG game … 4 Super Bowls in a row was still unbelievable!Voted Moon just off memory.

That is true. As great as Kelly was in the cold and snow, Moon had to be that as well in the CFL.Moon being exiled to the CFL for 6 of his most formidable years had something to do with that. And all he did in the CFL is win 5 straight grey cups while he dominated the league until the Oilers brought him in.
