Don't forget what we got in return for Russell Wilson...

The Seahawks received:
  • QB Drew Lock
  • TE Noah Fant
  • DL Shelby Harris
  • OT Charles Cross (2022 first-round pick)
  • OLB Boye Mafe (2022 second-round pick)
  • OLB Tyreke Smith (2022 fifth-round pick)
  • CB Devon Witherspoon (2023 first-round pick)
  • EDGE Derick Hall (2023 second-round pick)
The Broncos received:
  • QB Russell Wilson
  • DL Eyioma Uwazurike (2022 fourth-round pick)

We got a good haul certainly. It helped that PC/JS remembered how to draft players.

Locket is still behind #1 by 240 catches and 5,500 yards. A reminder of just how ridiculous largent was.

And i feel bad for brian blades, the forgotten WR

Dude, Blades was the man!!! I still have him listed as Seattle's 3rd best WR in team history - behind Largent and Lockett. From 93-95 (with Mirer as the starter) 238 catches, 3032 yards 11 TDs. Those numbers were good enough to be 1/3 of the entire team's passing attack for those seasons. Imagine if he had a competent QB through the heart of his prime.

That just show's how good Largent was... Impressive thing is that he played during the "Ground Chuck" era... Now days, he pass/run ratio is much more skewed in favor of the passing game... Back then, it was pretty much 52/48 pass/run ratio... Just looking up 1983, we ran 546 and passed 446... That was the year of Curt Warner's rookie year... 335 rush attempts for him... Dang! We may never see that again...

Pass/run ratio since Tyler's been here definitely favors more opportunities via the passing game... All to say, with Largent not having as many opportunities as Lockett has, it's quite a impressive what Largent did...

4.9 catches per game Largent averaged; .50 TD's per game...
4.25 catches per game Lockett averages; .426 TD's per game...

Man, didn’t like that last run play with no timeouts, better to take a shot down the field to get into better range …

When they made that dumbass decision to run, I thought they were inside the 30 yard line. When I saw it was a 55 yard field goal kick I was beyond speechless of why they didn't spike the ball after the Metcalf catch, and attempt a pass or two to the outside. I guess maybe they felt JSN would drop another ball, Lockett would be injured, and Metcalf would be a moron and stay inbounds for 500 seconds trying to gain 0.5 yards.

Definitely should have just spiked the ball, taken another shot down field, I was pretty surprised they tried the run, cost um big time … That’s a game they let get away, we should be talking about a victory and the SF matchup coming up … Shame ..
