Sendejo gone, I'm not too sad.

Kearse had no desrie to return to MN, which is shame, thought he played well.

Defense is being rebuilt

Sounds like they're open to removing franchise tag on harris for a draft pick, I think that would be a mistake. Can't let these guys we develop get away.

We can't spend that much cap room on safeties. We need corners!!

So how many draft picks do we have now? Looks like Zimmer and Spielman both have another 2-3 years left with the team minimum. There's no way the expectations will be high after losing so many vets while gaining so little.

The thing about going THIS young with a team is, they'll need to make a title run before their rookie deals are all up, if they make one with them at all. Because even if they have a great draft or two in a row, that's a lot of guys that will inevitably have to be let go once it's time to pay them all in a 1-2 year span.

They currently have 12, I wouldn't be surprised if they traded up or future assets

They're also willing to remove franchise tag on Harris for a pick. They'll get some comp picks next year too

As much as I like Cook, I have to agree with you. They're not going to be able to afford keeping him once it comes time to pay him after that Cousins extension. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if they could get a team to give up a nice 1st and perhaps another later round pick for him. There's even a few teams with top 10 picks that would be worth looking into. They might as well try getting something for him since they're not doing anything this year, and he's gone after that regardless.

If they can't keep him, what was the sense in extending Cousins? They should have let him walk after this season.

I figure O'Neill moves to the left side, Wilson at RT, Kindley at LG and Phillips at RG. If the Vikings are ever going to win with Cousins he has to have much better protection, OL should be addressed early and often! I'm probably gonna try to get another WR next then i'll move to defense.
