NO to Johnny Manziel, although I dont have a problem with the fact he's only 5'11 that doesnt help, he also does not have top arm strength.

YES to Marcus Mariota, his knee will be fine and he's thrown over 600 passes in nearly 2 seasons and has 6 INT's. He also runs very vell and most importantly he has very good arm strength.

I would bet Johnny Football misses more games in the NFL due to injury than Mariota does.

The Gophers need to concentrate on recruiting some receivers that can gain some seperation. Not a bad game although I hate losing to Sconni in anything. Still should get a decent bowl bid this year which will hopefully help in recruiting.

It's funny, MN has some of the most talented WR's coming out of High School but can't seem to keep them here.

Mariota injured AGAIN today. I don't want him.

I can understand not wanting Manziel. I'm thinking Tajh Boyd really might be a good bet. My dad is usually right about QBs, so I've been thinking more about Aaron Murray, but it still makes me :censored: uneasy. I don't think he's NFL quality that you can build a franchise around. Have you guys watched him at all?

I really don't watch anything out of the B1G lady. But keep in mind the Vikes can not develop a QB, he has to be NFL ready out of the gate. That puts a big damper on prospects.

...any hope of us getting a new QB staff? How long have we had the QB/offensive staff we have now? Can we blame them for everything? Because I'd kinda like that...

LOL!!
Actually Craig Johnson has a nice resume, but hasn't been able to do anything with the Vikes. I know he went from QB coach to RB coach his last year at Tennessee. Fisher know something Frazier didn't??? Most likely.

I'm hoping for an entirely new coaching staff, Frazier is not the answer.

I feel bad because Frazier is a good guy. But I want to win. I can see a new staff, clean house this offseason.

When was the last time Tennessee had a good QB? Manning? We need a QB coach from somewhere else. Fuck, even Oregon's QB coach would be better.

I meant the Titans.
But I'm all for cleaning house.
You'd think any coach would jump at the chance to take over this team. Lots of talent, they just need a damn gameplan.

Sorry, I spent 8 hours on campus today and just ate (and had a beer)...my brain is sluggish.

So who do you think we can tempt to take us over?

I'm already trying to think who can replace Will Muschamp (apparently his contract is through 2017 and there's a big enough buyout that he'll still be here next year despite the fact we lost to fucking Georgia Southern today)...can't even begin to think who would replace Frazier.

I haven't really thought about it. Dom Capers maybe for HC? He likes the 3-4 defense though. I'd prefer they stick w/ the 4-3.
