wtf happened to your Defense yesterday ? you had the game and the D let you down ..

what happened? they've been MIA all season, They can be average against a 4th string QB so we got that going for us...which is nice:L

Well...a tie is marginally better than a loss. I didn't see the game, I was at a "Brunchgiving". I hear Patterson could've given us a W if he could've hauled in a ball late in the game...was it a very bad drop?

replay showed the ball was tipped right before it got to him, he actually made the catch, just out the back of the endzone

Oh that blows. Bet Patterson is pissed about that. I'm super glad we got him!

He did drop another that wasn't tipped as well. He wasn't alone though, Jennings and Wright both dropped passes that would have kept drives alive.

early in the season I remember reading quite a few columns where the writers expected the Vikings to take a step back from our 10-6 season...guess they were right:bawling:

this season is a TOTAL loss and now we have a tie to F us out of a better pick:wtf2:

not that we all didn't know how important QB play is:doh: Without Rodgers and without Cutler, those teams are as bad as us:lol:

Looks like Cassel gets gets the start Sunday.
Freeman to back him up.

They need to ride Cassel the rest of the way out and see if getting him to come back for that second year option he has on his contract is worth it. Freeman sucks and got dumped by Tampa mid-season for a reason. Cassel is no long term solution, but he might be good enough to fill the gap while either grooming a new rookie QB or waiting for the next one to come around. Ponder still hasn't shown enough yet, and the guy is always getting injured anyway. Hasn't he been hurt like 3 times already this season, plus being out for the playoff game in Green Bay last season? Granted the O-line sucks, but I'm much more interested in seeing Cassel start the rest of the way out and seeing where he can take this offense than either of the other two guys at this point.

I just don't understand signing Freeman just to sit him. I think they should play Freeman the rest of the way and see if the kid can help, we know what Cassel can do.
