Cooley stated that of the four NFC East teams, whichever one had the best run defense of the four has won the division 14 of the last 15 years.

Skins did it with the 3rd best run D of the four a few years back.

Maybe the big three up front with Landon in the box gives us a chance.

Personally I have our ceiling at 7-9 and our floor at 5-11, so I'll roll with 6-10 at the moment. I was feeling 8-8 to 9-7 before we lost Trent and Reuben.

Which IMO would be more than fine for this team. Sure I would love for this team to have success this season, but I believe that this team is built more for the future. If Haskins truly develops as a QB (which might not really happen till next season) then they very well could be heading in the rt direction.

People need to look at what appears to be solid recent drafts & solid young talent in key areas. No doubt they still have some major holes to fill, but at least there appears to be a plan to build long term success. Whether it occurs is another story.
