It may take a few tough years but I think Vegas could be buried in draft picks the next two years. At least, they'd be wise to hoard picks the next 2-3 years.

I have been in the US too long. This sentence actually made sense to me.

Not really. They have until 3 pm tomorrow. The teams in trouble will use most of that time and pull the trigger when they absolutely have to.

And after the expansion draft itself next week the fun will really kick into gear with the draft just 2 days after the expansion draft.

Would it be smart/dumb/unsportsmanlike if Vegas selected Fleury and immediately flipped him to a team like Calgary?

Or are they better served keeping him? Figure they can get some decent defenseman and if they get a quality goalie they'll at least not be a dumpster fire.

Depends how the rest of their draft works. Also, how does this affect MAFs NMC? He waived it...for Vegas. Does that remain intact?
