get the first traded back for Johnson (+)? Dunno.
that would have to be a metric ass-ton of (+)? Dunno
because, well, you know.....

Wouldn't that be a bribe? Of course bribery is acceptable as long as you don't get caught. It's just like tampering.
If it doesn't leak we'll find out when the protected lists are announced.Do we know if the list of players asked to drop their NMCs will be made public?

And McPhee once traded Filip Forsberg for Martin Erat.
I mostly hate the complexity this draft is causing, but man oh man am I excited to watch these moves unfold.
I love it. The complexity adds potential for craziness.
The Penguins solve a lot of problems by exposing Fleury, but they still lose a decent player no matter what. If Vegas doesn't take him, they will need to expose one of Rust/Horny/Hagelin or Maatta/Shultz/Dumo, etc... or maybe with his higher stock, they find a trade for Fleury good enough that it's worth losing one of them. But if Fleury is available, I think that's the best outcome for both teams.
Pretty excited to see what the Pens do with some extra cap space and a healthy Letang back. I could also see them trading Maatta. He's a great defender, but doesn't have the right skill set for this team under Sullivan. They could look to swap him for a similar quality defender who's more offensive, or for a forward.
It’s funny that Gary is gonna fuck over the only successful expansion team of the last 20 years by making them give one of their best players to another expansion franchise that’ll probably take 20 years to make any sort of impact.
Definitely going to be some talent out there for Vegas...or for their trading partners whoever that may be
