Vanilla Extract

Ok this may sound weird but I met a guy who is a trophy buck hunter who swears by it. Says that Vanilla Extract is a big buck lure scent. Anybody ever hear of this? He has some big kills under his belt so I can't doubt that aspect. Curious?

I've heard of it and hunted with people that swear by it. They dodn't get the number of deer I do, so I say it comes down to other things. I quit using attracting scents because I swear some stuff I used chased deer away.

After washing everything in a zero UV laundry soap for hunters, if I do anything it's a cover scent. I usally just break off a small branch of pine and rub a little tar on my outer jacket. And I break up an apple and put it in a plastic garbage bag with my outer clothing. Beyond that, I try to have no scent.

Vanilla Extract is for baking and putting in pancake batter
