What a shit way to lose. After Jurgen yet again tweaks things in the 1st half which lead to a terrible start, we actually play pretty well in the 2nd half and tie the game. But nope. Gotta give up a goal in the 88th minute on a set piece where it looked like half the team had no idea where to stand.

The road of late has been none to kind to the US in the various nations. Perhaps suggesting US Soccer is regressing is a misstatement. Instead, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, T&T, Honduras are all improving and able to compete with the US on any pitch, anytime. That said, CONCACAF has caught up to the US and I do believe the US will qualify for the World Cup.

In 2014, Mexico had 11 points and was forced to play the "play in game." So the US is on the bubble right now.
