This site listed Bradford 6th, Suh was 1st of course. I don't think anyone had Bradford ranked 1st.

Lol exactly because they already had a number one quarterback so what you're saying with Bradford was very valuable
You're contradicting yourself. you're saying that if we would've picked Suh the Lions could've traded away Bradford to the highest bidder and got a ransom? You're right that would've been way better for them to do. Sounds like Bradford was pretty valuable?
Say what?
Hmmmmm......
Looks like a lot, most players in history don't have more than 4 1st team All Pro seasons. 6 All Pro seasons
The #2 pick is ALWAYS valuable because you can pick anyone but the guy taken #1, DUH!!!
As others have said, Bradford wasn't The #1 prospect, or the #2, or the #3, etc...

First, Trubinsky easily could've been #1... Garrett is a VERY flawed player, he was not a far and away number 1 like Suh was... Suh was a once in a generation type player and we passed him up for a crappy QB who led us nowhere...
It's called awareness. And in the NFL if you've got no Oline then you need to build your Oline first then u build your defense and get yourself a good running back with a game managing QB for a year or two
This is my opinion of course
Trubinsky #1 lol!! That would've been the biggest shock and reach ever !! The draft would probably still be on TV talking about it. Once in a generation ha ha!! I guess that's why we drafted a better DT four years later?? Get a grip man
I'm not talking about individual awards. I'm talking about where has his "teams"gone. because everyone gives Bradford so much trouble for not making the playoffs on crappy teams
He has been to the playoffs three times, 3 more than Sam
Wow, you are 100% CLUELESS.... This convo is over, you're not smart enough to understand... MODS, time to lock This thread, it's the same lies and bullshit over and over and over...
Suh will likely be in the HOF when he's through, can't say the same for the number #1 pick...
Teams have been gameplanning against Suh since the first game of his rookie year...

I'm not necessarily saying that picking Bradford over Suh was the right decision. What I'm saying is that every NFL organization would have made that pick. When your ass is on the line and you're trying to turn an organization around you don't pick a DT over a QB when you desperately need one. Like I said show me where it has happened.
at Jimmy Claus and Mel Kiper
And who is The quarterback that got them there?? A former number one pick. Which by the way who is still on the team. They let Suh walk. That's because DT's are a dime a dozen not so much with the quarterback Position. Capesh?
Aaron Donald is no dime a dozen, his next contract he will be the highest paid defensive player of all time.
