lol Barely taken an NFL snap yes but they gave up a TON to move up to get him. They can't trade him he has to be the guy. sure they didn't think Sam was any good thats why they resigned him and payed him 22m :noidea:

So what? yeah they gave up alot. So now you think they're going to try to intentionally tank their season even though their own first rounder goes to the Browns? Yeah, that makes sense...As for his contract, they became the laughingstock of the NFL because of it. They wanted out SO badly that the Eagles owner(whose known as VERY stingy)let him go even after already paying him 11mil for this coming season...

Sounds to me like Sam is a cancer to every team he plays for. The Vikes better hope they stay up on their chemo treatments to keep that cancer away...

Gallant efforts on everyone's part, I must say! Trying to get Cougie to understand any logic and truth concerning this leach on NFL franchises with Cougie's severe case (and I mean extremely severe) of man-love is as useless as pissing into the winds of a Cat 5 hurricane!

Speaking of the Browns, I'm surprised that the Vikings didn't call them about RGIII before immobile Bradford. I'm sure he could've been had for a lot cheaper and would've likely fit into their style of play better since he's very similar to Bridgewater.

That really makes no sense... as it was the Eagles WR's that were worse in the NFL with drops. But Sam still set an Eagles franchise record for completion %. :nono:

Coug he "should" have the Rams record for completion%, as much as he dinked and dunked, you throw the ball short as often as he does he should be completing 70% of his passes and he's no where close to that!

You guys make fun of the dink dunk but it's not as easy as you think. It takes very good accuracy to make it effective. That's why not a lot of QBs can do it consistently. No it's not exciting but better then turnovers and it keeps the chains moving. Just as effective as a 5yd run...

I just can't believe that he is still an item on the Rams site. We are so over him. I do believe the Coug is the President, Vice, Secretary, Treasurer and "Spot On DNA Specialist" for the Sammy Fan Club. Man-love might not be the the most correct disconnect from reality but Blue Dress comes to mind when the "one" talks the supreme QB in his mind.:kissass:

Again Coug, you are proving the point, you say Sammie is this great accurate passer and that it takes accuracy to complete a flipping 5 yard pass, yet Samie completed less than 60% of his passes in the dink and dunk years!

I can hardly wait til Sammie retires and down the road when he is eligible for the HOF, and you bless us with the credentials as to why he should be enshrined!

Nice batch of playmakers in this mix - what if Sam can't get it done in Minny?

Bullshit...a team doesn't trade a guy who is expected to be their starting QB unless they feel the next guy up is ready to go and just as good/if not better...

No offense, but Wentz played in one pre-season game, was mediocre, got hurt and is coming from FCS. You really think he was going to beat out Bradford? The Eagles just got blown away with a trade that 1. Nets them an extra 1st round pick and possibly a 2nd or 3rd and 2. They get salary relief from Bradford's contract that they can now use to build around Wentz going forward. I'd say the deal had much more to do with the Eagles looking to the future and clearly not that Wentz beat out Bradford.

I still can't believe the Vikes paid that dearly for Bradford. Eagles are BIG winners in that trade (and the Browns indirectly, who own the Eagles #1 pick).

I actually mentioned that in an earlier post how Wentz has barely played so far. However, I find it hard to believe that Philly is going to "tank" the season when they don't have their first round pick. So them losing will benefit the Browns? Doesn't make sense. Obviously, the Eagles had felt like they had seen enough to be comfortable with him as the #1 going into game one. They also have Chase Daniel, there's NO reason to "rush" Wentz, but they must feel he's ready to go...
