Apparently, UNLV is having more trouble with out of line fans. Hugh Greenwood of NM said that he had a good game after a fan made fun of his mother who is battling cancer.

It was one asshole on twitter, not the rest of the fans. I guess UNLV has the only fan that crosses the line.

Yeah, the dude was stalking Greenwood for a while, and based on what i saw the dude was just a twitter troll in general.

Fair enough, I agree, one lousy fan does not a fanbase define. But the fact that it motivated the opposing team, in a tight game, can be that one little thing that pushes them over the edge. Actually smart coaches use such opposing team boorishness as motivation all the time. LaGarrette Blount's now infamous "asswhooping" smack is perhaps the most famous example in Boise history. We should thank him. It pushed the BSU football team to heights that no one thought possible. And as history has proven even total jerks can find a place if they are talented enough.

UNLV barely eeked out a win against Utah St. If they lose that game the season would be basically over. Only chance i see us having left is to win the MWC tournament. If they dont, it will be a pass on the NIT again.

Oh man they really needed to win that game tonight. So glad they did. The season would have been pretty much done, the Wolf Pack isnt all that good talent wise (although well coached), I would have had to listen to Dijon here wailing about UNR, but most of all, i would have lost a 12 pack bet to my neighbor who is a UNR fan. Good game.

My neighbor is from Reno, and i refuse to refer to them as anything but UNR, cause thats what the fuck their name was forever. Now they want to try and claim the whole fucking state. Fuck U UNR, U R UNR!
