Nole’s crying in the towel was glorified by the media that felt sorry for him and to justify this he made up a reason that he was moved by the audience support who were cheering him on with his lack of competitive play and smashing his racquet when things were not going his way.

The real reason in my opinion is that he knew that the only opportunity of his lifetime had slipped out of his reach and he will never get this chance of a calendar slam again.

I only went to Newport this year. I would go to CT and US Open too. Would like to go to Indian Wells some day when I have the time.

I went there in 2016.

It was hot, but I liked it. It's one of the only sports venues I've seen with water bottle refill stations throughout the concourse.
