One of the sorest loser in all of tennis is out of the event. True nature always surfaces up no matter how much you try to hide it. Just hit balls in warmup practice or in the match next time.

The default was the right call.

If you hit a lines person, umpires, ball kid, photographer, fan, broadcaster, camera operator, it should be a default.

Shouldn't even matter how hard the ball was hit.

I would hope Serena remembers this valuable lesson from Djoker incident and does not go loose at the lineswomen if she is losing. She needs to practice even harder so she doesn’t lose matches to avoid incidents like this because she is an equally sore loser like our beloved Nole.

I prefer logical thinking over emotional outbursts. Nole will never be liked by the masses and at this late point in his career there is no chance of a turnaround. Also Serena has her rabid fans and the general public that like her are the ones who have little or no idea about tennis rules and as a gentleman sports.
