It does seem that way. Maybe he is injury prone? I dont know
But if he can produce when healthy and be replaced on the roster when not, I don’t see any harm in keeping him.
he could miss 3 months next year too.. who knows? But his spot becomes available on the 40 man when they go on the 60 day.
Probably wouldn’t even be needed though.

and then at the end of the season, if it goes like this one, we have to figure how to eliminate 6-8 players from the 40-man to get down to the 40. right now according to the 40-man roster(counting the 60-dayIL players) we're actually carrying 52 players
