Twins and Alexi avoided arbitration and agreed to a one year 1.3825MM deal. Twins are now past all possible arbitration cases and are ready for ST.

LOL @ $1.3825 M.............Don't forget that last $500, it must have sealed the deal!

Just imagine what he'd get if he was any good! I know, I know, that wasn't nice of me.

What does Larry the Cable Guy always say? "Forgive me Jesus, I'm sorry!"

The Twins are about to make a big splash. I can feel it. Wait for it.... Here it comes...

This is where Gardy does all his best thinking. It looks as if he will have to be there a lot this season.

He uses the spare roll of TP to make out the daily lineup.
The dual purpose line-up "card", I like it. At least if that lineup doesn't work out he can use it to wipe his ass, flush it, and start over. He may need more than one roll this year.

PC - I read about that guy just this a.m. and cracked-up! Our paper said he may have everyone by the "noogies" as he didn't do it to extort anyone. I'm sure the red Sox will hammer him down somehow. By the way, that stadium cost us Lee County tax-payers closer to $100,000,000 when it's all settled & done. But who's gonna gripe about $20,000,000 here or there? The Twins pay that every year to Mauer and get about 6-weeks out of him too!

Speaking of Baby Jesus, I saw him this past Sunday for the 1st. day of catchers & pitchers. The wind was blowing out like Hurricane Charley but he couldn't doink one. Casilla hit 5 or 6 when I watched him. I'm going over tomorrow and this weekend. More players start to drift-in right about now. I did torture Scott Ulger about letting Kubel & Cuddy go. Scott followed the "company-line" and said that there are other guys who can pick up the slack. Yeah, right!!

I'm gonna need your help if I get time to make a ST video and then post it somewhere. I know you are "the man' for this!

PC - I'm just headin' over there, I'll tell Joe he's got one fan left after last year, just kiddin'!

Obviously, we Twins fans want him to bust-out in 2012 but is he really as good as we led ourselves to believe? He has to show many, many people a whole lot more in 2012. We'll see soon enough.

I hear that buck but I find the MVP, Batting Championships, Gold Gloves, and Silver Sluggers hard to ignore. How quick many are to forget. One bad season with a nagging injury and everyone is ready to write him off?

I thought about your posts for the last few hrs., while I got some things done around the man-cave. You know how much I like and respect you and how much I admire guys who've played the game for money, especially those who've reached the bigs and become stars. I know how much you admire Joe. I respect that big-time, good friend.

I can't "dog" Joe mauer, that's simply not how I'm wired, but I can say I speak for a lot of guys who really question his heart right now. I ran into a bunch at ST today while we watched Joe warm-up. The way Joe handled his 2011 absence by going into seclusion left fans already p.o.'d by the poor Twins start to start reaching their own conclusions about Joe's problems. Then there was the nature of his injuries, especially the "Tired-legs" syndrome, that just didn't fly at all. The guys I talked to today were skeptical of Joe. The old ladies were just the opposite.

Now I stand at the batting cage and watch the biggest player on the team trying to doink balls into LF instead of swinging away as he did the year he hit 30 HR's. I know what he "did' in the past, and I know what his exorbitant contract has done to the team in return. He has got to earn this money every year, every game, every at-bat. He's got to play and carry himself with confidence, and he's got to suck it up when necessary. If he doesn't, I'm convinced the whole team will wilt again. If he bursts forth, the whole team will flower. I truly believe this. I hope he does the latter as much as you do but I'm not betting a lot of money on it. Time will tell.
