This game is so typical of the Mariners. Tons of offense last night and 1 through the 5th. Goldsmith was talking about maybe a sweep of the Twins and how it would be the 2nd for the M's this season. He failed to mention both would be from the bottom dwellers in the West and Central divisions.

I feel bad for him. This environment gave him no chance to succeed right off the back as he faced a ton of lefties. Now he’s 9 for his last 50 with 20 Ks. But yeah Tacoma fixed is what 710 will tell ya

Servais continues to amaze me about when he pulls people. Doesn’t let a guy who’s cruising finish the game last night. Now has a situation with the bullpen actually rested for once and and a starter clearly struggling and he just leaves him in to get pummeled

Come on, there was no real reason to put Flexen back out there for the 9th last night. He was close to 110 pitches with a 10 run lead.

Criticize bad moves, but not the obviously right ones.
