Trout drafting

I see trout does not have a SB yet, assuming he does not get 20 SB, do you still believe that he should be taken in drafts as one of the top 2 players in most formats???

Still clearly a first rounder!!! Just wondering how his fantasy eliteness is affected with lack of SBs.

Without any SB's, he needs to be dropped down a spot or 2. However, he is still a top 10 pick w/o the steals in my book. That said, I would be surprised if he did not end the year with 30 steals.

140 or so games left, given the occasional day off.. Plenty of time to get to 25-30 steals.

As to your point though. . If he wasn't a 20-30+ steals guy, Miggy would be undisputed at #1, Trout would fall into a discussion about who should be #2

I was going to start a Trout thread if he didn't have any steals by the weekend. I drafted him #1 on account of steals. In roto. But Miggy isn't exactly tearing it up either. Not sure there is anyone Id take at the top other than those two in any format. Haven't watched any Angels action yet. Has it been a lack of opportunity, or is there an issue with his speed?

There is no speed issue. None. He is just not running out of the 2 hole so much. That, and the bulk of the Angels wins so far have been blowouts, meaning less running for everyone there.
