We go from too few questions to too many overnight.

This is going to take me all day to address, and that is not an all bad thing.

I'm just going to throw in a few more questions:

Who is the only player to win the MVP award despite leading the league in both errors and strikeouts?

Could this be a trick type question, and, could this be a pitcher?

Many people know that Cal Ripken holds the record for most double plays grounded into, but can you name the player who holds the record for most TRIPLE plays grounded into?

Joe Gordon in 1942. Also led the league in GIDP. Just shows that Yankee bias goes back generations.

Many people know that Kirk Gibson is the only player to win an MVP award and never play in an All-Star game, but who are the only 3 players who won the MVP before appearing in their first All-Star Game?

I assume this question ignores all the players that won an MVP before the all-star game was created.

Justin Morneau is one
After that ... man, tough one. How about Ken Caminneti (sp), I know he had a breakout season the year he won the MVP (PEDs) and Frank Thomas? I remember he was pretty young when he won his first MVP.

Jimmie Foxx is another.

Jimmie Foxx is another.
Technically correct, but since the first All-Star game wasn't held until 1933 and Jimmie Foxx won the MVP in 1932 I wasn't counting him. I guess I should have been more specific. I didn't realize it would become an issue. Justin Morneau is one and there are two others.

No tricks, and I don't think a pitcher could ever lead the league in errors.

He could, but it would be REALLY difficult. Thank you for making me think about that more, so I know how stupid that now ended up being.
