In response to the "acquittal" in the "trial" my illustrious in-law's feeling is "the Senate is not where this should be decided, the American People should vote him out if they want him gone."

Oh, so the legal process of investigating the President as outlined in the Constitution is not the appropriate place to decide if a crime has been committed? You'd rather go ahead and have another election, which you may remember is exactly the process that the President himself is suspected of allowing (or coercing if you will) foreign powers to interfere with, in order to get rid of a guy who - and there is no other way around it - the Majority of Americans voted against?

This is the level of irretrievably stupid we are dealing with.

Calling it now, Toronto’s going over 100 murders this year. Already at 8 and this is usually the slow season for homicides.

We had 56 in 2015.
