we are planning a 19 days trip to Europe in May 2021 to celebrate our son college graduation. Hopefully there won't be any Covid restriction by then.

So far the plan is to visit the gf's brother in the Birmingham (England) area in March. Also, a trip to South Africa in December.

However, we'll see how everything is. Plus, she needs a visa stamp or she might not be allowed back in the country. So, gotta get that sorted.

No not internationally, but since this thread's here:

Just made all my campground reservations for our trip down to The Glades RV Resort in Moore Haven Florida where we spend the winters.
Dec 4, Clarksville TN
Dec 5, Cartersville GA
Dec 6 Lake City FL
Dec 7th arrive at The Glades RV and set up for the winter.
1100 miles.

We've had to put off leaving because we're waiting for my wife's new glasses, she had to get cataracts removed and needed a new prescription anyway.

Stay in Cartersville Saturday night so we can get up early and go through Atlanta Sunday morning. I hate going through Atlanta.

We'll have to make a trip all the way back home to get our box trailer with golf cart, generator, satellite dish.

Will rest up a few days before doing that, maybe a week even.

Daughter and I nailing down our July trip to Egypt and Red Sea.

I'm still looking at French Polynesia in Feb/March but may if Micronesia shows signs of reopening later in the year.

Every time I drive through Atlanta it has the possibility of being Another Day That Lives In Infamy, at least for me.

Anyone going to be willing to venture out or internationally?

The wife and I went to Thailand in April of 2019. I also sent her and the kids to Serbia that summer to visit her family before they passed - her uncle passed this summer so I'm very glad I sent them out there last year. The credit card took a hit - well worth it - but it's now paid off; time to travel again!

We're looking at Ecuador and Peru, possibly in the late fall. Your recent photos have me/us thinking the wifey and I should head to Honduras (a place that's been on our radar).

Morocco is another place on our radar.

A rep I've worked with for years took a job with an Italian company. He was over there for training (I think it was supposed to be a couple months) early this year, and everything went to shit a couple weeks in.

His gf had traveled there a couple days before it all, and their plans of traveling around got fucked.

Hopefully you can see the continent some this year. If it happens this year (hopefully), Rheinkirmes in Dusseldorf is awesome.

My brother is going to be in Switzerland for 3 months this summer...if I can find a cheap ($5-600) flight, I might go for 4 or so days. I just don't have much vacation left (between Puerto Rico and South Africa)... That's issue. I can just crash in his hotel room, so the stay is free.

my mom just sent a text to my sister and I that she bought a plane ticket to PR in November and asked if we'd be interested in going as well.

I am on the fence. I am not a fan of traveling with them
