College Football and the spread has not helped develop NFL QB's

No doubt- I have been saying this for years. College football systems have crushed development at the NFL level. Players come in behind and expected to make a contribution quicker then ever.

Use to be a player would be in an NFL system and would come in and learn in the NFL.

Now, we have players in spread/air raid offenses not ready for the NFL that are expected to start from day 1.

So the defense is coming together and the offense needs to fix a number of things. Sounds just exactly like what a good coach would have scripted for this moment in camp.

Derwin James MCL injury will miss significant time again.

Jalen Reagor out a few weeks as well.

I suspect TE Okquewbugan will surface as a top Broncos threat by the end of the season. It's like destiny.

After so many years - covering the TE is still going to be a Broncos weakness - unless the Broncos have something going I don't know about.

Cleveland will undoubtedly beat out Winfree is camp.

Casey will be a huge difference maker on the Bronco's Defense.

RB - S and WR groups will have the toughest cuts to make.

Essang Bassey. Surprised he wasn’t drafted. He and Coleman are nifty free agent UDFa signings.

I speculated this a few weeks ago with the new IR rule. Our WR depth chart is pretty deep now(boy have times changed from just last year) that Hamler could start off on IR. Note: This means out 3 weeks this year with new IR rule for 2020.

Sanu cut . Seemed like an awful trade for NE last year. A second rd pick. A 5th seemed more tolerable.

Hamler won't go on IR as it looks like he will play in the opener now if there are not setbacks. Hamler returned to practice today and did just side-work, but he looked pretty good.

Must be great to be young! If I pulled a hamstring now, I would be out for 12 weeks.
