Wasn't Vonleh a lottery pick last season? It's strange that more than a few teams have recently been trading or giving away recent draft selections after a season.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clap2:

About TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing is....we waited around 9? years for Batum to "mold" into something great, yet we get 2 no names for him? Somewhat of a bummer...but at least the softest player on the team is gone.

Gerald Henderson is a pretty decent player. I like him, especially if he continues to improve his jumper.

Vonleh I have no opinion of, but at least he is young.

Portland is atrocious for developing young players...Batum was "young" while he was here...Travis Outlaw, another young guy....Aldridge was our young guy...finally after almost a decade showed something last year in the playoffs..Portland doesn't develop young players.

My guess is Olshey is doing this to get something better...I cant imagine he would give up Batum for only these two. There is probably a plan in place tomorrow.

To be fair, those players were coached by Nate McMillan. He doesn't exactly set the world on fire.

Batum is great when he's healthy. Only problem is he's rarely healthy. Vonleh looked like a good prospect but stunk the joint out his first year. Still, its a good bargain to take a flyer on him right now.

The buzz (no pun intended. No, wait. PUN INTENDED!) is the Hornets are eying Frank Kaminsky now that they traded away Vonleh

Vonleh is gonna be a huge bust. Some of the cbb guys like jay bilas are idiots for hyping these players.

As a Badger fan, I don't want to see frank in Charlotte. Its a situation that sets him up for failure. Frank is a guy, that in the right system and with the right team, can succeed. But with a team like Charlotte I think he is destined for failure. We'll have to see I guess

Vonleh is still a kid. He is basically a college prospect for another year or two. An idiot is someone who drafts him then gives up on a 19yr old after one year.

Gerald Henderson might be the biggest part of this trade. Im not seeing it push the needle either way
