Hogan's been a great target for Brady however, Mitchell's been sidelined a lot and Amendola hasn't been in the mix much. Snead in NO has competition and they could be looking to jettison him. Any thoughts?

No. This team does not need more weapons.

I don't think you can have enough weapons. Besides, with the limited usage of Mitchell and Amendola, Edelman is forced to pick up the load. I'd like to be able to preserve him by having a legitimate third option.

As with any trade it would depend on what you are trading for him. Snead would be a welcome addition to any team in the league. The guy has proven to be a very good WR only in his 2nd year in the NFL. You throw in he is on a very cheap contract and again he would be appealing for any team. I doubt that is the position the Patriots are looking to trade for especially at the price I would bet the Saints would want for Snead. Usually with trades you are looking at positions of greatest weakness. Right now I don't see that being the case for the Patriots. He would be more of a luxury than a need.

Maybe trade for some OL help. They are getting Brady killed

I was definitely savoring the idea of having that luxury.

No. Snead would be extra baggage. Receiver is not a weakness.

What player do you cut to add Snead?
Haven't given it much thought. That's why I'm asking you all. I'd say put Mitchell on IR and offer a pick. Unless we were to get a Joe Haden, I don't see a trade that would vastly improve the defense this year. Better off picking up another offensive weapon. Brady's playing lights out; don't want to see it end abruptly.

Today proved that. Before today we had 2 non-productive receivers in Mitchell and Amendola.

Amendola has caught two TDs this year and Edelman got his first by a hair today. Amendola has been productive, he hasn't been targeted that much and neither has Mitchell. Don't assume Snead could come in and play. He may not have the head to digest this system. How many guys have been "super" receivers, come into Foxboro and shit the bed? Ochocinco, Joey Galloway, Bethel Johnson, Tate....Snead my not have the gray matter to do it.

I'd like to see an defensive lineman who can get after the QB. The Patriots are last in the NFL in sacks. Could be the defense that they're playing, but none of these guys can chase down a QB. Tackling still sucks on this defense. These guys have got to start tackling better. They can't miss tackles like they did today against Denver or they just might have to go back out there in the playoffs.

Tackling was noticeably bad today. They need to tackle better - they got after the QB but they didn't tackle him.
The pressure on Brady was painful to watch and the film will be studied by our opponents.

OL and or a CB. Unfortunately there aren't any CBs that I'd want.
