Lee?
He's a Curry.
Maybe if Doc Rivers was your GM.
where? What if Harden pulls a Jimmy and leave Philly in the offseason
Now you're just arguing semantics of wording. That's @dtgold88 job, stop stealing his role around here, lol.
You said Curry was no pivotal to the success. Mean that he was unnecessary. I.E. he is a throw away as a non essential piece to the team.
I don't know how you managed to turn this into a Seth Curry vs Harden trade, but somehow you did. Congrats. The mental gymnastics on that alone is impressive.
Spot up shooters are significantly better when paired with superstar level talent. Curry's role on the team would have been further impacted, in a positive way, for your team. You don't think the quality open 3's you said he only takes would become more prevalent given Harden on the court at the same time?
Wheeeewwwww.....
Why do you keep putting words in my mouth.
I said "I like Seth Curry. Good player to have. And when he's on, he's fantastic. But he's slow and doesn't like to shoot unless he has gobs of space. He has an average handle and almost no vision."
I said nothing about him pivotal, or not pivotal, to the success of the Sixers. If I were to say something I would say that a one dimensional player like Curry is NEVER pivotal because he is replaceable.
And it is just weird for you to say that I made this a Seth Curry vs Harden trade when it was you that said "Didn't hear all the chatter a few weeks ago. But Curry is a significantly better shooter than Harden. Also depends on how they're getting their shots. Seth is a floor spacer. Harden is a ball dominant player. So from a catch and shoot and floor spacing, Curry is significantly better and IMO a vital piece to an offense that has a dominant Center."
You were literally comparing Curry to Harden. It was you that was claiming that Curry was the better floor spacer than Harden because, apparently, good catch and shoot players are better floor spacers than elite primary ball handlers with effective perimeter shots. I guess Joe Harris is a better floor spacer than Steph Curry. LOL.
It's funny how a week ago all we heard was how the Sixers needed to give up Simmons plus draft picks plus Maxey. Now we are hearing how the Sixers gave up "too much" because they gave up Curry a late 1st next year and a protected 1st 5 years from now.
I like Curry. But he was not pivotal to the team's success. Harden is just as good a shooter as Curry.
It doesn't look like flexibility, moreso, just hope. They hope Bertans can be an elite shooter next to Luka. Hope Dinwiddie can be a good fit. Bertans was an awful contract but so was ZingerI haven't looked at the particulars, but what's the reasoning for that Dallas deal? More money flexibility? Because while I get that Porzingis hasn't really been that great of a fit with Luka and that team has a ceiling, basketball wise, I'd rather have him than the players they got from the Wiz. Only thing that would make sense is if it frees them up to make more moves this summer and later to improve that roster
I'm pretty sure Woj means that to mean the Lakers are going to buyout everyone on their roster.
The Phillies basically are replacing Curry with Harden. Yikes.
What if I told you Harden and Curry have nearly identical TS%........Didn't hear all the chatter a few weeks ago. But Curry is a significantly better shooter than Harden. Also depends on how they're getting their shots. Seth is a floor spacer. Harden is a ball dominant player. So from a catch and shoot and floor spacing, Curry is significantly better and IMO a vital piece to an offense that has a dominant Center.
