Settle down chief. I get the excitement but the Cavs weren’t winning anything this year. 2-3 years from now? Different story.Yeah it's both for good teams, it sucks being a fan of team in the East especially since the Cavs were looking good and Nets stumbling. This sucks
Last I checked these teams will probably be together for the next 2-3 years...could be just two for Harden. Realistically, playoff experience is the goal but then you have MIL who isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The East is ridiculousSettle down chief. BBall Paul gets the start for Tobias and logs a Flagrant 2 with 11:47 to play in the first quarter
When did I say that Curry was a throw away?
You said that Curry was a "vital" player to have. You said that Curry is a better "floor spacer" which is kinda absurd. Being an effective 3 point shooter that can't create his own shot doesn't make you an elite floor spacer. Being a ball handler that has elite vision that can hit a pull up 3 or distribute from anywhere on the court is what makes you an effective floor spacer.
Curry is a 10 year vet who was pretty much always a bench player that was able to be more effective when player with an MVP level player. But catch and shoot role players are not exactly rare.
I would have preferred to keep Curry. But, truth be told, I was on the fence on whether to deal Curry or Green. Because I know Green is a willing shooter. The Sixers were 28th in 3 point attempts this year. 28th.
Most seasons I'd agree I doubt the cavs are a first round exit but who knows this season with how 1-6 are so bundled together (with 7 not too far back). Almost seems likely we could face Miami, Nets, Philly or Bucks in round 1...even if we get Toronto or Boston that is no sure out with their experience.
I don't know about that. I posted earlier that I think that, at this point, unless there's a miracle trade offer...they may be best served to just stick with Westbrook through this season and next and just see if they can stay healthy long enough to figure things out with LBJ, AD and RW. If not, Lebron and Russ are $91 million in cap space (plus any smaller expiring deals) to use to rebuild around AD who will only be 30.
That last bit is what's really bothering you.I’ll be a Kool Aid drinking Sixers fan with delusional level buy in by tomorrow morning (or sooner if Morey can get some shooting before 3 pm) but I need this catharsis right now. Morey blinked and I’ll go to my grave believing he didn’t have to. I think the Nets were going to deal Harden regardless. Simmons alone improved their roster but giving them Curry and solid 5 and two picks that allows them to go out and get more just hooked it up for Brooklyn. And I’ll be real. I have never hated a Philly athlete to the level I hate Ben Simmons and I seriously think this son of a bitch gets a ring now.
THT for Burks.Wonder what it was LOL
My wish for Ben Simmons is a kidney stone the size of a golf ball and every load of laundry producing an odd number of socksThat last bit is what's really bothering you.
I was pretty disgusted with the way Ben went about things.
Using mental health to get paid while you forced a trade is despicable.
I said from the begging, he is weak minded and can't take the pressure.
But, he's lying about not being able to play because of it.
All the bleeding hearts that said " You don't know, treat it like it's real " can continue to kiss my ass.
He's a liar.
So, I don't want to see him walk into a ring either.
i know...wtfCavs play the 76ers four times still. FML
Lee?I'm personally hoping the Warriors do a minor move like trading Damion Lee, JTA or Beli for an open roster spot. Then hopefully Tristan Thompson becomes a buyout candidate as a backup big. Warriors could use some size later on as a precaution.
