You are talking to someone who has watched a LOT of Simmons basketball. In the playoffs, they will just ignore him and double up on Kyrie/KD. If he drives they will foul him and make him prove he can hit those shots.

They are still going to be very good. But if he doesn't fix his free throws he will be a liability on offense.
Double up on Kyrie, Kd.....

Patty sticks a needle in their eye.

If Harris comes back...

Are you leaving him, Patty or Seth open?

Dude, he's younger, better defending, worse offensively Draymond on this roster.

Nets have a bunch of bigs now in Aldridge, Drummond and Griffin....

Flip Claxton for something. Like the kid. Let him go somewhere and develop.

Didn't hear all the chatter a few weeks ago. But Curry is a significantly better shooter than Harden. Also depends on how they're getting their shots. Seth is a floor spacer. Harden is a ball dominant player. So from a catch and shoot and floor spacing, Curry is significantly better and IMO a vital piece to an offense that has a dominant Center.

OK. I don't even know how to respond to his. You are seriously suggesting that SETH Curry is a better offensive fit than James Harden?

I like Seth Curry. Good player to have. And when he's on, he's fantastic. But he's slow and doesn't like to shoot unless he has gobs of space. He has an average handle and almost no vision.

Tell you what. How much you want to bet that the Sixers offensive rating goes up for the remainder of the season?

Not shocking. And why all the hed leave after the trade was bs
They are going to be paying him over 50 mil per in his late 30's.

If you win even 1 chip, it will be worth it.

If you don't?

You said Shooter.

I said Shooter.

All of a sudden I said Seth is a better offensive player than Harden?

LOL.

Griffin is trash. Aldridge is really a 4 that’s been playing out of position. Nets top two options now at 5 are Drummond and Ben Simmons playing small ball 5.

I'm not trying to slag on Simmons. He has a ton of great skills.

But he shot 30% from the stripe in the playoffs last year. That is the WORST in NBA history, of qualifying players.

I'm sure he will shoot better than that but having a ball handler who can only shoot 50% at the stripe is a problem.

When he shoots around 70%, which he would do in spurts, he is a near unstoppable force. When he shoots in the 40s, which he also does in spurts, he's largely invisible.

Cavs will take him as a backup big. He can flourish behind Mobley and Allen

LOL.

Seth is a better 3 point shooter. But he shoots at a much lower volume because he only shoots when he is wide open. Seth's high water mark in 3 point attempts per game would be Harden's lowest since he was a 6th man in OKC.

I’m gonna punch a fucking puppy. Morey just handed Ben Simmons a fucking ring.
My guy, Ben wasn't giving you anything running 5 on 5 at the local YMCA.

You got addition and subtraction.

You added a top 10 player and subtracted a distraction.

Again, read my post before you just smash the keyboard.

I didn't say Seth was anywhere near better than Harden as a player. You were mentioning him as basically a throw away so no big deal. I said that generally with a big man who is as dominant as Embiid you want floor spacers around him. So retaining Curry AND obtaining Harden would have been ideal. You said Harden was as good of a shooter as Curry. I said he is not, which is true.

And I also said HOW THEY GET THEIR SHOTS is different.

Seriously, take a minute to actually read and comprehend something before just going off, lol.

I like the Philly/BKN deal for both sides. It more or less balances everything out for both teams. Sucks to lose some shooting with Curry on the Sixers side but at least you still have Green and you were able to do the deal by keeping Maxey. And with Harden opting in, you're all in on winning a title right now with Embiid, which is what they needed to do.
