Actually it did matter because in that scenario, the Kings would've traded Luka to the Lakers. We have all been spared the coming of a fifth Lakers dynasty. NBA fans in general don't need that. LOL.

There a quite a few nerd articles on Harden's deceleration being elite and that's what makes him unique.
I can't say I'm too familiar with similar athletes so I don't know if this gets better or worse with age.

That's an odd thing in terms of athleticism, I don't know either. Obviously, everything decelerates with age, but from a much slower original speed lol.
