Rumor on the radio now:
Sixers get Harden and Mills
Nets get Simmons Thybulle Curry and Drummond

And that’s what Nets are asking for.

Simmons, Thybulle and KD on the court at the same time is a hell of a defensive lineup. Add Bruce Brown in there as well and that's the best defensive lineup in hoops.

Listening to the radio during my break and they’re saying that’s technically true because both teams are using intermediaries. WTF?!?!? Like Nets Sixers is Israel Palestine or some shit? Why can’t the GMs pick up the phone?

A team with ass defense all of sudden has the makings of being a top 5 defense.

Sure if

My point is are you comfortable giving him 200 million in the off season at 33 with his quitting history

I would be trading for him for the balance of this year and possibly next. The big issue is his ability to opt out of the last year of his deal, could limit what the Nets could get for him in return.

Let him try to get paid when his contract is up; like you said, who is going to ante up to the max for him? He might have to accept less, especially if he wants to be a contender.

I honestly didn't realize how marginal if not bad THT's stats were before his contract. What in the fuck were the Lakers thinking keeping him over Caruso.

They could've had Diallo for 1 year 5 million. Same player but more athletic by a long shot lol.

He's really taken a step back this year and I don't think they have him in the correct role.

So players can't improve playing with better players.....

Got it

Have to admit, it hasn't worked well for most of the Lakers' additions this year.

I'm not sure PG is either. He has become a mystery lol. To me, he should be a SF trying to learn from Lebron (in terms of creating offense) and slashing. He's probably better with a small ball lineup to utilize that slashing ability.

DJ always has his purple colored glasses on, every move is a good or great one for LA. He talks about Wiggy yet he does the same

He started out great in his first 5-6 games and then it's like he forgot how to play. But, he is young.

And once the Lakers traded for RW....everybody knew they were going to have to fill out the roster with vet minimum guys.....sometimes they hit....sometimes they miss.
